This is a coloured architectural illustration of the beautiful and distinctive Tom Tower (part of Christchurch College) in Oxford.
The bright blue sky is overlaid with a series of hand-drawn black lines which accentuates the colour even more, and enhances the visual effect of Old Tom breaking into the sky line so dramatically.
Hand-drawn by architect Robert Kann using Faber-Castell Indian ink pens, over a period of 14 hours, the illustration is then shaded and digitally coloured. The illustration is printed on textured parchment to give a truly unique appearance, which shimmers in the light, creating an intriguing sense of depth.
This is a limited edition Giclée print on Ivory hammered-effect 300gsm paper. All purchased artwork is signed and numbered.
